Comments Thread For: David Benavidez: I Have What Canelo Wants - The WBC Title

Last November, Canelo moved up by two weight divisions, from middleweight to light heavyweight, and knocked out Sergey Kovalev to capture the WBO world title.

He just has to be willing to defend it for pocket lint, a ball of string and used chewing gum.

That's the fight I've been wanting but he will fight GGG first. Be patient David B.

Benavidez also has what Canelo doesn't want, youth, size, power, and a high punch output. You hear everyone else's name at 168 as an option more than you ever hear benavidez name mentioned, meanwhile business wise, he makes the most sense.

I highly doubt Canelo takes this fight. Well, GGG just had a birthday, so that makes the trilogy look pretty good to GBP

This could be a super fight down the road but not yet I says Davis shoud take out guys like Derv and Ggg first then in a few yrs he’ll be ready.
