Benavidez also has what Canelo doesn't want, youth, size, power, and a high punch output. You hear everyone else's name at 168 as an option more than you ever hear benavidez name mentioned, meanwhile business wise, he makes the most sense.

Benavidez may be the best guy at 168 AND 175, when he moves up (and he will) . He's a huge guy, with power in both hands, knows how to fight tall and mix it up on inside with vicious hooks. Canelo wants nothing to do with him, for all those reasons.
