Comments Thread For: FOX To Reveal Upcoming Fights During James-Dulorme Show August 8

The "FOX PBC Fight Night" show August 8 won't just feature three live fights from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Premier Boxing Champions also will announce its full slate of fights for the remainder of the summer and fall during that broadcast. At least four more "FOX PBC Fight Night" cards, one FOX Pay-Per-View event and 12 FS1 telecasts are likely to be revealed as part of a telecast that'll feature welterweights Jamal James and Thomas Dulorme in the 12-round main event for the WBA interim 147-pound championship.

          Porter-Formella

And probably fights from everyone in PBC who don't have a fight with Showtime.

            July 30:

"James (26-1, 12 KO) and Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KO) will meet in the 12-round welterweight main event for an interim WBA title, which is a preposterous belt that doesn’t need to exist, but whatever, it’s boxing, it’s the WBA, life goes on. It’s a solid matchup between two guys really trying to break into contention in a stacked weight class where almost all the big names are with PBC.

FOX will also air David Morrell Jr (2-0, 2 KO) vs Lennox Allen (22-0-1, 14 KO) in a 12-round fight for the interim WBA super middleweight title — arguably even dumber than the welterweight one — and Omar Juarez (7-0, 4 KO) vs Willie Shaw (12-1, 8 KO) in a six- or eight-round fight at junior welterweight."

            The WBA is the worst!!!

2-0 vs 22-0 sounds like it could be a real mismatch. 2-0 guy is Cuban though so probably got some skills.

****** it's for a belt. Maybe this is Haymon playing chess, get the WBA to call for Smith to face the winner of this fight before the WBC calls for Benavidez to fight Smith.

If we're talking about Callum Smith, then the WBC can't call for Benavidez to fight Smith because Smith is the WBA Super Champion! Plus, I think Haymon wants Benavidez to fight Canelo or Plant!

SHO will have more competitive fights while FOX has bigger names.

Some fights that have been rumored and I think will be announced:

                    Porter vs Formella
                    Ugas vs Ramos
                    Plant vs Thompson
                    Traux vs Angulo
                    Spence vs Garcia
                    Nery vs Alameda
                    Pascal vs Browne II
                    Kownacki vs Helenius II
                    Ruiz vs Arreola
