I understand your point, USYK is very, very accomplished. That said, the Cruzer weight division is thin with much weaker, lessor skilled, lessor known opponents than the 147lb division.

A case can be made that USYK being Eastern European, with a language barrier is discriminated against is one thing but claiming he is above Crawford? No! Maybe on paper, under constricted perimeters, maybe.

Over all, in totality I would not go as far as to rate him above Crawford, especially when based upon the fights they've had and available competition.

Crawford was a unified Champion at 140lbs and became a 147lb champion by obliteration. Crawford didn't beat the man that beat Manny, he annihilated him. He didn't just out box Horn he over powered him at his own game. (Keep in mind, Manny just beat Keith Thurman)

As for Crawford fighting better competition at 147? Spence himself said that he would take an easier route and that route did not include fighting Crawford any time soon. It's on video.
Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman both have repeatedly expressed their reluctance to fight Crawford. At one point Danny's camp refused to respond to 4 mil offer only to fight a blown up 140lb, one dimensional tough guy for 1 million.

You could argue that USYK fought the best available...but...If you are going to be fair, so has Terrance Crawford.

IMO, USYK needs to move up like Crawford did and if he wins or is avoided he should be considered on par with Crawford.

My argument stems that I rank the Cruiserweight division on par with 147, those are some

USYK reigned supreme and cleaned out the division traveling to the other guys turf. Usually winning in devastating fashion, moves up.

I used to argue Toney would smash USYK, not so Sure anymore.

Let me be clear I was a big fan of Crawford as I am of fighters that believe in family, their community and fighting the best.
