Thinking Spence will vacate the IBF rather than face an Arum fighter most casuals fans won't have heard of. If it does go that way, Abdukakhorov would be the ideal opponent for Ortiz.

Hooker has a 10 in. reach advantage over Ortiz Jr.! I'm sure that's something Ortiz Jr. probably hasn't seen in the professional ranks yet, plus Hooker has faced better competition, so it's a great test for Ortiz. The other thing is Hooker is trained by Bomac, just like Crawford, so it's a great way to get the juices going for Crawford vs. Ortiz Jr.! I'm sure Crawford would be in attendance!

Ortiz for such few fights, shows no fear, doesn't make huge money demands, will fight with or without an audience. And you can always count on an exciting fight with him on a card. Very impressive.

The kid is stopping fighters that have been in title fights and never been stopped before so I think with that alone it shows he is ready for the best of the best. I think he should challenge the best and see who is willing to fight him

I feel like Oscar tells GBP boxers to call out PBC guys for his own goofy going nowhere agenda.

Look man it'd be cool if everyone played together in boxing & the cream rose to the top faster & the guys with a name had to keep earning their name instead of coasting on it at a certain point, but ultimately this is a game all sides are playing with their attractions to some degree so let's just quit bsing & keep it moving.

Regardless I'm excited to see how far Vergil can go. He's a young, fun & destructive cat on the rise & we got many great years watching his fights on the horizon.
