Let me ask you this question; Has Tyson Fury defeated anyone as good as a prime Mike Tyson? If he has then please name him for me because I can't.

So was Mike, but with a less positive connotation. It was a perfect combination of complacent and unmotivated Mike thinking he was going for a stroll in the park and super motivated Buster giving his best. Its one of those wins where, while credit is rightfully due to Buster, but the reason he actually won was because Mike let him. In a rematch it would 100% be a different story - it would Rahman - Lewis II all over.

While I'm not convinced Fury would have beaten prime Tyson, there is a fallacy in your question. Who he beat is irrelevant. This question can be asked about anyone on the verge of them taking a title from a champion. Too many examples to even mention it here. In other words, the answer to your question is irrelevant and absolutely inconclusive.

Tyson in his day would have KOd Joshua with relative ease in my opinion. The Fury fight would have been difficult due to size but I’d give him a decent chance.
RJJ was a beast but not a heavyweight and would have been stopped by both after a good start.

            I forgot to mention.

Iron Mike KO's Joshua, but Joshua KO's Roy.

Roy would have never got in the ring with either Fury or AJ. He ducked throughout his career. He wouldn't even unify with Byrd. He instead cherry picked Ruiz like he always did. It's not like weight was the problem because Ruiz weighed heavier than Byrd. His glass chin would have been smashed to bits. But as i say, Roy would never have got in the ring with them.

I believe a “prime” Jones would best Wilder because Wilder telegraphs his punches and Wilder would come in at basically the same weight as Jones. Roy may even stop him. But I don’t believe Jones beats Joshua. A “prime” Tyson beats all the above including a “prime” Jones.

                    Mythical Matchups:

                    Fury UD Jones
                    Joshua KO Jones 5
                    Wilder KO Jones 11
                    Tyson KO Jones 3
                    Tyson KO Fury 11
                    Tyson KO Wilder 3
                    Tyson KO Joshua 6

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who feels the Wlad Fury fought was anywhere near prime is too much of a Fury fan and can't be trusted.
