Mayweather has been in boxing his whole life and has achieved arguably the most successful career of all time in boxing.

Gervonta and Broner have habits, personalities and hang around crowds that can derail their career at any given moment. They don't like to he told when they are wrong which is understandable. They are grown adults.

From Mayweathers perspective he needs to realize that not all talented fighters have the same level of drive and committment. So far Haney shows promise in that aspect. As did Badou Jack who although limited, achieved a lot through discipline.
