I'm thinking of William Warburton... The guy even caused some mild upset here and there!

Demarcus Corley too, last time I checked he was still fighting and still managing to score a good few upsets.
Collazo is not a journeyman. Dude was world titlist at 147. And fought title fights against good opposition many times.

Journeyman is a fighter who was never on world level and doesn`t even fight for major world titles or maybe fights once.

One of the reasons we ( we being purists) hate casuals so much is because they are the type of people to ignore anyone who isn't a name, or a champion.

Its like saying you like basketball but only watch the finals. You'd be missing a lot of good ball. If you only watch major PPVs and only care about 1 or 2 guys, you are missing ALOT of boxing.

That's also probably why the average casual never learns anything. They never care enough to soak enough in.
Yup! I like watching fighters no one knows about and you know right off the bat they are special. Then years later people in bars bring him up once he makes a name. Ive seen a few diamonds just at the right time right place.

One guy I knew could box with the best of them! Pure talent and was a thing of beauty to see fight....

Drugs and alcohol did him in. Got busted for robbing pizza joints and sht

Gotta wonder haven't you? Probably 90% of talent never makes it close to our screens... dudes girl gets pregnant and he gotta get an extra job, or he's sick on the day the scout comes to the gym, or that one in a thousand punch lands on him in his breakout fight and he's forever relegated to gatekeeping or drugs or prison or anything...

Thats very true. When I lived in Cali a lot of ppl respected a homeless man. Said he was a site to see when he was young and in the ring. Something happened to him he just gave up?

Coupla great interviews with Deezol here:

For over twenty years, Seconds Out has been delivering the very latest boxing news, results, interviews and more.

Some great stories in there, like literally training himself with his friends picking his fights... waiting on the phone then getting the call one, two weeks away from the fight.
