Due to the fact that Vitali lost to Oleg is the amateurs.

You're not getting it Nautilus. At this moment it wouldn't appear like Vitali was ducking Rahman, since it would hard to believe anybody is. But if you delay a fight 3 times, and then retire because you can't fight anymore only to fight the minute your opponenent at that time loses... it is supsicious, regardless of what our orginal thoughts might've been.

... due to a fact that Vitaliy brutally lost to Oleg in the amateurs (3 KDs followed by a TKO stoppage)...

... don't you think it is a legit and respectable enough reason to come back and fight Oleg, honestly?

Remember that Vitaliy wanted to fight Oleg, instead of Hasim. This must be the reason.

No. A retirement like Tito's or SRL where they just feel like they've lost it... yet they come back to fight again is one thing. However, claiming naging injuries and an inability to fight again after postponing a fight for close to 6 months only to come back to fight again within a couple of years would be ******.

When Vitali had aspirations of fighting K1.

This is so old news, it's not even funny. In a related story: Jermaine Taylor beat Jeff Lacy in the amatuers.

Lacy would rip that uncle tom's head right off his shoulders.

Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor....is not Joe "the Welsh Dragon" Calzaghe. Any way you slice it....they aren't close

Joe C is one of the best fighters on earth, open to ridicule....because of nationalism. Everyone with a ****ing brain knows he's the guy to beat, and has racked up an impressive, yet sheltered record.

He proved he wasn't a fluke by beating Lacy.

Taylor on the other hand....lost his last fight by a close margin. Even thought the Taylor media thought he deserved the fight.

Taylor drawed with Winky, P4P # 2 and beat Hopkins, P4P # 1(at that time).

Even though transitivity does not strictly work in boxing, recall how easily Hopkins beat Tarver who beat RJJ and Johnson...

So, I think Taylor will beat Lacy, and big biceps don't help be a good boxer, like we saw today.

So, I respectfully disagree with you.

Almost all ring observers, Ring Magazing writers, and the majority of the people watching the first fight between Taylor and Hopkins......thought Hopkins was Jobbed.

Not only because of the punch stats....but because of the way Taylor faded in the last 5 rounds.

                    This should not be news.

I scored the second fight a draw.....because of Hopkins' reluctancy to engage...when Taylor was throwing and landing punches on the gaurd.

He clearly lost the fight against Wright 115-113 and I don't know how you'd score it otherwise.

That was like Vargas v.s. Wright all over again.

I had both Hopkins Taylor fights scored narrowly for Hopkins, and I thought Winky clearly won 7 rounds to 5 over Taylor.

Although Jermain fought admirably in all 3 fights for a young fighter.
