All of these Fury vs Joshua hypotheticals; Do you think it's wise for him to count his chickens before they hatch? Just Like Wilder; If Fury isn't careful he could fall into the same trap of being too overconfident while underestimating his next opponent in the process.

I fully agree that Fury won more convincingly, but I couldn’t help but feel after that fight that Klitschko had an off night and would have done much better in the rematch, were it to happen. AJ’s win, although he went life and death, was far more conclusive in the sense you felt that Klitschko gave his best but would fare no better in subsequent fights. The fact he waived his rematch clause with AJ, yet ardently pursued it with Fury tells you that.
Fury right now has far more boxing IQ simply because he has had longer to develop..let’s not forget that Fury was punching his own face and struggling mightily with ex-cruiserweight Steve Cunningham at a later stage of his pro career than AJ was when he was beating Klitschko.
In my view, AJ has developed at a far quicker trajectory, and still has a long way to go with less than 7 years pro experience, having only started boxing at 18.Comment

no one has ever beaten Wilder easily, at the point where they think they are in control, boom they find themselves on their backs. The stoppage in the second fight was unfortunate because Wilder had actually survived the concussed episode and was starting to time Fury coming in, he 100% knew it was just a matter of time. That being said I expect Fury to win the third fight on points in a very closely contested match up, If he(Fury) survives being knocked out. Fury is tailor made for Joshua to outpoint & knockdown at some point in the fight. Just recently Fury was taken to the deep waters by c-level heavyweights and everyone has conveniently forgotten because of one victory against a concussed Wilder from the third round. Fury beat Wilder very easily so your statement is already wrong from the start, and Wilder hadn’t even faced anyone decent apart from an old Ortiz who aged even more during the fight, so this statement still wouldn’t mean anything even if it were true.
And as for Wilder starting to time Fury as he came in, and knowing it was just a matter of time? This is the most ridiculous interpretation of the fight I’ve seen - you clearly must have been watching something else. Wilder was a sitting duck on the verge of being stretchered away...it’s only due to Breland’s mercy and Fury’s lack of killer instinct, given all the shots he landed, that Wilder finished the fight on his feet.Comment

Many will also agree that the second fight stoppage was unfortunate.. they wanted to see a body on Tyson's résumé.. it would have been ironic had it been Wilders after his spouting...
