Until Spence beats Crawford he's not no.1. Same applies to Crawford.

No one in the welterweight division can be pound for pound no 1 until everyone fights.

While I'll agree Crawford did not beat a great WW opponent..Saying beating him would be like beating Jeff Horn is just silly..Crawford at one point was consider the worst 3rd best boxer in the world..Any WW should be jumping to fight him as he should be jumping to fight Spence Garcia Thurman Porter..

The point is, we need to stop blaming Arum for Crawford's inactions. That's on Crawford not wanting to fight the best.

Crawford called out the two best WW at the time Spence and Thurman..Arum said he would make the fight..Haymon did not want to make it happen..Choosing Garcia for Spence and Pac for Thurman..I do not hold this against either of them,both those fights made sense..

Even Spence fighting Garcia now makes sense.. Thurman should be eyeing Crawford right now imo tho..

I think Spence should do just fine. I don't expect him to be as reckless as he was in the Porter fight and try to knock Danny out. I expect Errol to simply out box Garcia with jabs, feints and body punching.

Again, I don't care about 'eye test', I'm talking about resume, and drawing power.

In terms of resume, Horn has Crawford beat.

In terms of drawing power on home turf, Horn has Crawford beat. Crawford can barely draw in Omaha.

If Spence fought and knocked out Horn in Australia with Mark Nelson reffing, it's a top level win for Spence, BECAUSE of resume.

The same cannot be said of Crawford, because his resume is meaningless.

Crawford now is the same as Indongo was when Crawford beat him: undefeated, a champion, yet fought nobody.
