lol no one cares about women sports in general not to mention the number of skilled female boxers is almost non existent. shields is terrible to watch. she is so boring. I'll never care about women boxers no matter how hard they try to push it.

Gymnastics, figure skating, beach volleyball, synchronized swimming and tennis (those miniskirts man). are the only female sports worth watching

Everybody knows women will never be nearly as skilled as men in ANY sport, but at least you get to watch some graceful, beautiful scantily clad women in those sports

People watch it because it is x-rated, women rolling around on the floor 'Leg's wide open, or hooked around another woman' Their a*ses all up in the air, it showcases female sensuality more than boxing.

Boxing is a pure sport, the sporting aspect of it 'Is what is being showcased'.

Note: I am not discrediting the women, as even besides from all these factors 'They are really good, their tenacity and drive'.

Never found Cyborg attractive but it’s always entertaining watching her **** opponents up.

She’s an outlier to the others like Van Zant, Herrig, waterson hotties who can’t break an egg.

Its because they put multiple womens fights on pretty much every UFC card nowadays whether people ask for it or not, and those cards get good numbers (usually not because of the women, although there are exceptions like Ronda, Cyborg, Nunes etc who draw). Just look at how "officially" UFC 200, one of their biggest shows ever, was main evented by Nunes/Tate, even though for most fans there was 5+ other fights on the card that were bigger reasons for purchasing the PPV.

If they could get the female market on board, even some of em, it'd be a smart investment though, don't you think?

I’d say so yes. Then again, (I know it’s a tiny sample size) whenever my wife sees boxing, men or women, she hates it, admittedly she’s a doctor so maybe that’s why.I reckon it’s a tough sell to lots of women though.

Indeed, can't say Missus Koba's a big fan either, though admittedly I kinda blew it by taking her along to Saunders vs Lee for her first and only live fight.

However if there is a way to get more women onside at all I figure it's gotta be through women getting involved in the sport... and also it's worth noting that calls to ban the sport and resistance to getting boys involved is likely to come from women. More we can get onside the better I reckon - one of the reasons I try to support the women's sport.

                    Haha!
Yes, I see your point. I guess it’s got to be marketed slightly differently, as you say there must be a market out there!
