Regardless, I'm not sure exhibition fights are something that's lauded just something that provide commentary (water cooler talk, Q-rating, clicks, etc) and money. It's an odd thing to try and take credit for.

I like Mayweather and respect his accomplishments but he seems to have some esteem issues despite his undefeated record.
