He should fight Amir Khan in Great Britain.

If Adrien Broner leaves PBC (he’s mad at them but he is always is I guess, so it probably won’t happen), I think he makes sense too.

Josh Kelly or Jaron Ennis would make the most sense.

He will likely fight Alexis Rocha in one of next fights, they are both with GBP and unbeaten.

Does this kid remind anyone else of Felix Trinidad?

Places his punches well and a great finisher.
I think he is too good for those two and would beat them quickly and easily. He looks ready for guys like Porter, Thurman and Danny Garcia.
He is a fast handed puncher with both hands and a finisher like Trinidad. Trinidad won the world title at age 20 so maybe Ortiz can do the same at 22 or 23.

That's a very bad idea. He is another rising prospect and fringe contender like Vergil Ortiz, Jr. What Ortiz need is a good gatekeeper on his resume someone like Jessie Vargas, Saddam Ali, Amir Khan, Josesito Lopez, Luis Collazo or a Kell Brook.

Ali would be more of a name than a genuine test IMO. I think Ortiz ices him early.

That Young guy looked pretty decent when he beat Ali, don’t think he’s fought since.

You got to build to the big fights. Ortiz has the talent but he doesn’t have the experience yet. Somebody made a great point when they said don’t Fernando Vargas this kid.

Tito was lucky that there was a very beatable champion in Mo Blocker for him to beat. Terry Norris already took his soul when Tito fought him.

I’d like to see him have a couple of tests before we throw him to the wolves.

Somebody mentioned Jessie Vargas that could be a good step forward. If he dominates him, then start looking at the top guys.

Alternatively maybe Jessie Vargas in a match room co promotion
Brook could be a good step up, can he make 147 tho?
