people seem to forget how Derevyanchenko had a close decision vs Golovkin, SD was protected be Harvey Dock fouling all night, rabbit punching or slapping and pushing GGG head down, elbowing, constant low blows, head butting, he was allowed to do anything, you name it hes done it. And after all that GGG dropped him, landed more punches and made more damage on SD
    just a little reminder https://********/_3nnA0WqOlw

That video is appalling, man. I thought Golovkin just nabbed it at the time. Upon re-watching a saw a slightly clearer win noticing Golovkin was doing a really good job of covering and blocking much of Sergiy's bodywork which I initially thought had landed.

What I didn't see was Sergiy doing anything that significantly crossed the line in terms of illegal or even controversial work.... bit sad to try to discredit a superb effort from Derevyanchenko.

False. It’s definitely Andrade or Charlo.

I also rewatched it during lockdown and scored it 114-113 GGG. Very close fight though could have easily gone the other way.

              Bumlovkin is not a champion.

Until Boo-Boo or Jermall beat someone on the level of Derevyanchenko I'm still provosionally going with Golovkin, but honestly I wouldn't be hugely confident in him beating either at this point.

Eye test tells me Andrade's the one most likely to come out on top if the three fought each other, but how can you tell with someone whose best win is still arguably Vanes 7 years ago?

Charlo and Andrade have fought no one at 160lbs. No top 10 guys and no one who has any name recognition.

                  They are unproven.

GGG even in his twilight has still shown to be able to fight at a top 10 level. If Charlo does well against Derevychenko then maybe GGG could be considered weaker.

Andrade? Guy keeps "calling people out" but continues to fight bums and nobodies. At least fighg a top 10 guy and win in convincing fashion. People rag on GGG opponent selection but give Andrade and Charlo free passes yet claim they're better.

Yeah, I got no real argument with anyone who saw it the other way, but did you watch the video Satir linked? Man, it was trying to say Sergiy was cheating throughout, slow-mos of little shove offs and maybe GGG ducking so a D'Chenko cross would slide over the back of his head and stuff like that trying to prove Sergiy 'cheated'.

                    Great fkn fight though.

The phrase “cheating” is often overused in boxing. It’s a fight at the end of the day, you do whatever you can. He hardly had plaster in his wraps.

And yeah great fight, Derevyanchenko is the best active fighter yet to win a world title IMO.
