The UFC and ESPN hasn't lowered their PPV price point.

      I will pay the $80.

I appreciate the that DAZN doesn’t make me do that but I’ve been a boxing fan a long time and I accept PPV.

That being said, I ain’t buying everything.

I’ll pay for a real unification (real champ vs. fake champ is sometimes hard to swallow.)

I’ll pay for two top end p4p guys

I’ll pay to watch two top guys in a division that matters or that I care about

I’ll pay for a fight that I think will be competitive

I’ll pay for a fight that I think will be fun to watch

I’ll pay for a fight if I really think missing out

I’ll pay for a fight if there’s nothing else to do on a Saturday that costs less

I’ll pay for a fight if someone wants to come over and watch it

That’s pretty much my criteria. So there are times when I look at a PPV and laugh because I feel like I’m smarter than who the promoter is targeting.

For example, I will not be paying for Davis-Santa Cruz. If Davis doesn’t blow him out, he’s not as good as advertised. I don’t need to pay $80 to find out if Davis is good or not. He’s a lightweight who’s fighting a featherweight. No thanks!

I will not be paying for the Charlo card. Super welterweight sucks, so I really don’t care who wins all those titles. We’ve already seen enough to know that eventual undisputed champion isn’t that good.

And while I like the Charlo-Derevyanchenko matchup, the fourth and fifth best middleweight isn’t an $80 PPV.

I will not be paying for Lomachenko-Lopez. Lopez is a made, top rank opponent for Lomachenko. He’s a good boxer and a good prospect but he doesn’t have a prayer. He’s not a top five pound for pound boxer. Lomachenko is the lightweight champion and Lopez is a belt holder. He’s also 22 years old and that means he doesn’t have a prayer against a guy like Lomachenko. It was 120-108 x3 written all over it and I won’t pay for that.

      Fury-Joshua, I’ll pay for. Beterbiev-Bivol, I’ll pay for (I don’t think I should have to, but I would.), a Spence-Crawford-Pacquiao fight, I would pay for.

$20 - $30 is just about right to me.

Doesn't matter who are in the card.

          about $10 is it

The guys like Canelo and such who are at the top of the heap get paid too much, imo. So I'm not going to contribute to them getting paid even more. There are free sports on TV all the time, why should boxing be any different?

I don't mind paying about $50 for a high profile fight where at least one of the fighters has paid his dues and earned that status.

The thing is, most of those fighters are with Dazn already and I've already paid $100

Depends on the fight. The more intriguing the more I will pay. Watching on your big HD screen from your couch is a much better seat than sitting near ringside. You can pay hundreds or more for a good seat at a marquee fight just to say you were there, but you will get a better view from home. You can also DVR it and watch it again. The $100 for Pac/Floyd was my absolute limit though. Ot would be ideal if PPV fights were in the $50 range. That seems to be the sweet spot for cost vs value.

To answer the question - it will vary by fighter. The majority of fighters I won’t pay more than £19.99 for , infact only a handful I would pay anything - and almost all being heavyweights (I would’ve for Carl froch before he retired too).

Joshua is Probably the only I would pay more for, and the exact amount would depend on the opponent.

£19.99 is fair for most PPV fights.
