Callum Smith is the frontrunner to fight Canelo Alvarez in the fall.

He’s also willing to take less money against Canelo Alvarez than he made to fight George Groves.

Canelo Alvarez fans said Callum Smith was scared of Canelo. They said he priced himself out. They said he screwed up his only chance to fight Canelo because he was greedy and knew he was going to lose.

I guess he didn’t lose his only shot at Canelo. I guess he didn’t price himself out. I guess he isn’t greedy. I guess he isn’t scared of Canelo.

Will the Canelo fans admit they were wrong?

Nope.

When they said GGG was too much of a sissy to fight a champion in a weight class above him and never admitted they were wrong.

When they said Sergey Derevyanchenko would never get paid anything like what Canelo offered him and never admitted they were wrong.

Canelo offered Sergey Derevyanchenko more than $5 million.

Callum Smith isn't worth $5 million.
