If the theaters are back I will watch it there for $20. That's the the only option.
PBC thinks people will pay to watch better fights. They’re wrong.

Not sure because of social distancing. And, even if that option was there, it wouldn't be for $20 I'd imagine.
I wanna see competitive fights, not fights just to line their pockets. Times are tough.Comment

I disagree . I think they are gonna make sales . I think with the pandemic this business model makes the most sense without the gate , if it was normal times I would fully agree tho . Let's just hope that covid doesn't scratch some of these great matchups off the cards etc.
Iam also in Canada and working still tho so I can't say for anyone in the states who may be on lockdown without work etcComment

The UFC gives fans what they wanna see. Competitive fights & fights with top names vs each other or top competition. But the UFC is not lowering the PPV prices and are still doing fine. I don't get the lowering the price argument to be honest. At least not from $75 to say $40. Because if you are paying $40 dollars for it, you will likely pay $75 for it. Now, if they go from say $75 to $20? That is different but don't think that would be smart on their part.
And to be clear I'm not suggesting they will lose money or anything. I don't think anyone even does a PPV if it's not structured to break even worse case. I just don't think it's a great time to do boxing PPV's with unproven PPV attractions or attractions vs non-names necessarily. And tbf this Tank vs LSC fight is right on the threshold of what I'm suggesting above. Idk doe we shall see. This is all unknown speculative sh^t these days & the reality is you gotta at least dip a toe in the pool to see if it's warm or cold.Comment

Definitely. I didn't think either Charlo fight was going to be on PPV either. Tank is different as he draws better than both brothers both in terms of TV ratings and live gate. No problem with him going the PPV route. If his PPV bombs, then he can be back on regular SHO but good for his team giving him a chance to shine on PPV.The UFC gives fans what they wanna see. Competitive fights & fights with top names vs each other or top competition.

I was more so commenting on the price argument. I think there is a reason it gets talked about so much yet no promoter ever lowers it.Comment
