Lopez has to do something before this is anything but laughable.
Castillo beat Stevie Johnston, who I think would completely outclass Lopez.
He beat Cesar Bazan, who would outbox Lopez as well.
He deserved to get a win over Floyd Mayweather, who was basically a top 5 p4p guy his entire career. Mayweather at 135 probably knocks Lopez out.
He also won five rounds on two scorecards in the second fight with Mayweather. So even though no one talks about the second fight because Mayweather obviously won, it was actually one of the toughest fights Mayweather has ever had as well.
He outboxed Juan Lazcano, who would probably outbox Lopez.
He outboxed Joel Casamayor, who I think would absolutely outclass Lopez.
He knocked out Julio Diaz, who would have a chance to beat Lopez.
He knocked out Diego Corrales, who would outbox Lopez, or knock him out.
I’ll take Castillo by brutal knockout. Now if Lopez does something big, it might change my mind. But right now it’s not a comparison.Comment
