Jose Luis Castillo vs Teofimo Lopez @ 135

Who wins in this barn burner of a battle!?

Castillo has the stamina of a throwback fighter of 15 rounds, punches hard with both hands, relentless pressure, excellent inside fighter and can fight dirty and has a great chin!

Lopez has supreme athleticism, explosive, KO power in both hands, speed, good timing and is a boxer puncher!

Both have good killer instincts so who will win this!

    Let’s talk!

      How do you see it!?

Decision win or stoppage, it’s a fight where either the biggest punch scored may make the difference or either Teo’s counter punching /speed or Castillo’s pressure and bodywork takes it!

It is a little early in his career to make meaningful comparisons at this early stage in his career. I will say that he seems to have huge upside potential, but so did a lot of other guys who fell short. Let's see how he does in the next 2 or three years against Haney, Ryan Garcia, and Lomachenko, of course.

I don't think the boxers of the days of 15 round fights had any better stamina than today's boxers. going to 12 rounds was due to a few deaths in the 15th round. At times in the past some fights were 45 round fights. A good fighter gets in perfect shape for any fight and paces himself for the amount of rounds he might have to fight. I pick a prime Castillo to beat Lopez.Castillo was champion for years and everyone knows what he could do against other good fighters.Lopez has great potential with his speed and punching power and the timing and accuracy of his punches. but he is very unproven. If he beats Loma I would probably pick him to beat Castillo but right now I am picking Loma to beat Lopez.

I saw Corrales, who was a super puncher bounce shots of Castillo and he just kept coming. Lopez, who hasn't fought anyone would get beaten up and ruined. He would take a severe beating! Not saying he wouldn't have a moment here and there, but Castillo is a much better fighter and fought all time greats.
