Floyd's money problems don't worry me, but I'm not buying anything like this. I want to see what kind of deal he gets, but this isn't boxing

... because it is an "exhibition" (no matter on what kind of money)...

If it's true that Rizin are struggling financially then it makes sense for all parties..

Floyd makes a fortune and stays relevant, boxing wise in the boxing world, Rizin make some much needed funds to help boost the business and get it back on track, makes sense..

Asians/Japanese will pour to watch it but I can't see it having great appeal elsewhere. It'll most likely Be a YouTube job a couple of days later..

it's a desperation move for Rizin, a lot of these Japanese fight promotions struggle financially and try to hit a homerun only to flyout and go bankrupt, nobody wants to see Floyd in another garbage "fight".

You do realize billionaires still invest in the stock market, right ?

That if they saw a $100 bill on the floor they would pocket it, right ?

Why is it May can't do anything to increase his bank account, like most wealthy people do, without him being broke ?

Because Uchiyama was a very good fighter, he's young enough still at 40 compared to Floyd and still in fighting shape so Floyd doesn't want to risk his official 0 on the record. Remember Uchiyama has some serious power so it's still a risk to some degree for Floyd to take him on. Exhibitions are the easy way to circumvent that risk of his oh so coveted 0 (that no one cares about) and still make bucketloads.

All this is a page out of Ali playbook

The difference is Floyd makes a lot more money and he has way more yes men to pay at the end of the day are you really a friend.
