He’s heavily involved in social media and that takes a massive toll on the psyche.

Mike had real problems and his journey off the rails was very well known about. Ryan has done none of this and is always around people enjoying himself. Generally takes care of himself and lives well. That's not even close to the kind of thing a depressed person is like. I've been there, and all I ever did was lay around in a dark room day after day doing drugs or just sleeping to get through each day. Sometimes after enough time you accrue enough nasty thoughts to make yourself crack and try to kill yourself out of desperation to escape the hell in your mind. Instead of being optimistic you tend to be pessimistic or ambivalent about things. Mostly ambivalent. It's hard to give a **** about anything when you're depressed. Ryan is a liar if he thinks he can genuinely tell us he's depressed right now.

I don't know Ryan but only he would be able to answer that. Plenty of "happy looking" people battling demons.

I don't think it's a bad thing that especially men now can talk about and be open about mental issues.
