Felix Verdejo is ready for a brighter future, one which he hopes will include a chance to claim back a piece of his past. The 27-year old lightweight from San Juan, Puerto Rico collected his fourth straight victory, stopping previously unbeaten Will Madera in one round Thursday evening at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Their ESPN-televised headliner lasted just 2:59, ending with Madera on the canvas after absorbing two uppercuts and a cleanup right hand.

Verdejo is one of those Arum generated frauds that will get beat by every elite fighter he faces. IMO Loma beats him easily.

I thought the same thing but you can't deny Salas is helping him improve. Would love to him VS. Someone in the top 10-20 next then he can go after a top 10 fighter. Let's see what happens kids got talent.

Very fair point. He is still only 27.

Loma fought salido only 3 fights in and if it went 1 more round salido would’ve been stopped
And padraza fought a injured Loma . With the surgery he had it’s recommended to wait 6 months before training. Dude fought in 4! He’s literally a god

I'm as big a lomancenko fan as there is but what about his Luke Campbell fight didn't exactly look like a god in that fight either. Loma is a great fighter but at 135lbs the top guys in this division have a chance he's a little to small for 135
