Overall the card was underwhelming but that's to be expected sometimes with the circumstances. Instill prefer bad cards to no cards.

Opening fight and chief support were decent and entertaining enough. The main event wasn't supposed to be the main event and was supposed to be more competitive on paper. HW Anderson showed more patience in KO'ing someone he's supposed to.

Verdejo looked crisp, fast and aggressive. As Ward intimated, Maderaay have been undefeated but there are levels to this sport. Verdejo showed this tonight quickly.

I wasn't impressed with Shakur Stevenson or with Jermall Charlo's recent opposition either.

Will was a solid fighter Romero duno level fighter so give Verdejo at least some credit every fight with Salas I've noticed him upping his game . I'm still not willing to say he's a top 10 fighter in the division but he's close .

The most significant improvement I see under Salas is his balance. Verdejo used to always swing wildly and fall out of balance when he threw any power punch.

Would love to see him step up vs Commey or Gamboa next.
