Yeah that's true however Griffin was knocked out. What do you wait for him to wake up and just re-set?

It was a legit DQ. Could Griffin have gotten up? Probably but Roy put himself in a terrible position there. The ref really had no choice. It was a waste though. He could beat Griffin anytime. A shame it ended that way and his win streak.

Roy did the right thing under the circumstances. Why would Montell Griffin take a knee all of a sudden in a middle of a fight; Where he was fighting so beautifully up until then? I personally don't blame Jones.

He probably thought it was a ploy on Griffin's part. Montell had Roy's number that night. He had the champ all figured out. It was easily the worse performance of Roy Jones, Jr's prime.
