Basically what Lemieux is saying is he is already pricing himself out. It would be easy money for him to get knocked out. He needs to stay in Canada and fight in club fights for peanut salaries where he may be somebody.

"Where he may be somebody?" Last time I checked he's a former IBF World Champion. Where's your World Championship? He's still the #3 WBC Super Middleweight. I get your point but show a little respect.

GB have been trying to line Lemieux up for Canelo for years now. They know Canelo would knock him out in spectacular fashion. If Lemieux wasn’t such a bum he would have gotten the payday already.

Lemieux is only getting consideration for a canelo fight as a cheaper option. Under normal circumstances he nowhere near the top the the line of potential opponents and, if he prices himself out (like Get Em Up notes he looks like doing) he'll probably never get another chance.

Hahahaha , club fights? I seen Lemieux vs Saunders, it was on HBO, in Laval , (Montreal suburb) at Bell Place arena, it was jammed , there was about 10 thousand in attendance.

I think Lemiux would be a step behind in timing throughout the fight against Canelo whose reflexes and timing are better..
