While Canelo, Joshua, and ggg all bring eyes to the sport and should be paid accordingly, let's not pretend as if all 3 aren't grossly overpaid. Their contracts are ridiculous and are not proportional to what they're delivering, both inside the ring (performances & level of opposition) nor outside of the ring (in terms of interest generated). The face of boxing had to take a backseat to a ufc event that had a main event between 2 guys who had a total of 25 losses between them. That should tell you all you need to know about the level of interest dazn is seeing from their stars.

depends who he is fighting, if its a big fight against one of the big boys then he should get paid, if its not then he prob should accept a paycut due to conditions, or else just wait it out, hes not flat broke

On that note Andrade is a fool and epitomizes the entitlement mentality now a days.

If Andrade were to never fight, nobody would care. Boo Boo is a decent fighter but part of what makes fighters special is the fighter mentality.

If you just handpick your opponents, you don’t respect the fight culture of taking on the best challenge available to prove your worth. Get your money but get that respect first.
