Ryder’s one of those guys that fights to the level of his competition which is why I feel the Canelo fight would be a good one!

Smith I feel would be meeting his worst style match up in Canelo! A short stocky guy with good head movement and can pressure well while fighting very good on the inside with great bodywork!

Ha ha, thing is if Ryder looks good stylistically against a dude Canelo will look better. Not a huge fan of the Ginger kid but he can box and he's showed excellent adaptability, and John and Saul are built very much the same even though John's a lefty. I remember pointing this out when folk were saying Fielding's length would give Canelo some issues, and now we can say the same with confidence about Canelo vs Mundo. In fact GBP could do worse than snapping Ryder up to send on recon runs against prospective Canelo opponents
