the early UFCs, hitting to the nuts were legal, Keith Hackney destroyed Joe Son with nut shots. Joe Son went from being a religious nutjob to a sadistic rapist/murderer...
why is holding and hitting below the belt illegal?

Is there any video footage to back that up? I know it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion, but I think I saw that fight, it was brutal to say the least. Forgive me man, I'm just curious as a fight fan. Enough of this dirty fouling stuff after that.lol.Comment

Because getting low balled is a painful experience and would properly stop you having kid’s Down the line.
Holding is not boxing and if there is no rule to break it turns into 36 minutes of cuddlingComment

I know everyone has their own opinion on it, but I think it’s super corny when people say someone on “PEDs” could kill someone in the ring. There’s no world where Big Baby can take all the gear he wants and hit harder than say a Wilder or a Mike Tyson. Yeah peds are cheating and give u an advantage, but how can u say u are more scared or intimidated of a mediocre fighter and his power cause he’s on peds than fighting a more skilled fighter who hits harder regardless? Course when the best and hardest hitters take it then that’s scary. But to tie it all in to low blows, sometimes several real good heaters to the cup are missed in fights. Sometimes several get to happen with no point deductions. Sometimes they are deliberate. We just say that’s clever boxing if they get away with it? There’s no retroactive loss if a guy landed a bunch on tape. Every guy knows what it feels like to get hit in the junk. U can test positive for sum gear months and even a year after u have been off. But low blows happen during the actual fight and have instant effect. There’s so many cuts due to head clashes that effect fights. Chris Byrd on peds or a heater to the cup from Mike Tyson? I just think there’s a lot of delusion there. It’s not like the amount of “unintentional headbutts” a fighter is involved in is recorded.Comment
