You could say this is the first time in Trout's career, where he stepped up and didn't lose.

It ain't the first time Andrade ducked Jermell either.

      He ducked him again recently.

When Mayweather retired and dropped the wbc belt at 154lbs, the wbc had a mini tournament to determine and legitimise the next champion.

Jermell fought Jackson or whatever that guy's name was for the title, and the had to defend it twice (the rule is you get two mandatories for winning a vacant title).

The first mandatory was Charles ummm...Charles something, forgot that guy's name, and the second mandatory was going to be the winner of Andrade vs Nelson.

Jermell beat both Jackson and Charles Hatley (just remembered the name), and Andrade beat Nelson, and therefore Andrade was the remaining mandatory for Jermell.

Andrade all of a sudden decided he was going the WBA route and was going to fight Jack Culcay for the WBA regular title, thereby eliminating himself from his mandatory shot from Jermell.

In an interview about the Culcay fight, the interviewer asked Andrade why he was fighting Culcay for the regular belt instead of going after Erislandy Lara, the super champ.

Andrade replied: "Lara is a boring fighter, I'd only fight him as a last resort."

So with that one move he ducked both Jermell Charlo and Erislandy Lara.

This wasn't even the first time he ducked both of them, he had been offered the Lara fight before he was offered the Charlo fight when he was the wbo champion and refused the fight.

So it was actually the second time he was ducking BOTH Lara and Charlo.

He would go on to duck Lara AGAIN, for the THIRD TIME.

Because when he beat Culcay and became the WBA regular, he effectively became number one contender for Lara.

The WBA was under pressure to order the fight.

So they made an announcement that they wanted Lara and Andrade to begin negotiations in September, and that a purse bid would be ordered in October if they failed to negotiate.

Andrade announced he was moving up to 160 less than two weeks after that announcement was made.

Do you think this was the last time Andrade ducked a credible opponent? Nope!

Almost immediately after moving up he ducked Derevyanchenko.

Derevyanchenko persistently called him out and Andrade refused to answer the call. Derevyanchenko then decided to send a contract anyway in hopes that they would reply, nope, still no reply..

Derevyanchenko tried one last time by calling him out publicly and announcing that he sent a contract and is still waiting for a response from team Andrade.

Then he announced he was giving up and moving on with his plans. Andrade only replied after Derevyanchenko was signed to fight someone else and claimed he was visiting his grand parents as his excuse.

Biggest duck and biggest waste of career ever.

Funny thing is I he had fought Charlo the first time, I'm confident he would have beaten Charlo with ease.

The second time would have been a more fifty fifty fight.

Yeah I know Andrade's pulled this a couple times. I cannot think of a fighter that has had a more irrelevant career - that fought for a long time.

Only fighters that comes close are Omar Figueroa Jr. and Gilberto Ramirez. Omar was built up for years and years only to lose his 0 to Ugas which did nothing for the sport or PBC. But at least he won some brawls. Gilberto just boring and pointless though he never received chance to fight someone like Charlo.

Boxers need to be suing these bastards even more, and hope they all go bankrupt.
