I don't think Thurman took a dive because it looked like he was trying to win. I just think he was out of boxing so long that he couldn't turn it all the way back on the way he thought he could. Once pac and Roach saw him get rocked by josesito lopez, they knew he wasn't the same guy he was 2 yrs ago, and wouldn't get back to being that guy just a few months later. That's why they picked him.
It goes both ways, Thurman knew Pac’s not the same guy he was 8 years ago and he actually thought he would retire Pac but the old lion showed him what “rude awakening” is all about. I hope he learned a valuable lesson not to underestimate his opponents, I’d like to see him become a champion again.Comment

A good co-main event affects the viewership for the main event. Why you think they try to have good undercard fights for ppv events?
PBC would be exactly where they are even if Thurman didn't exist.
Wilder, Spence, Stevenson, Broner, and others all played a part in getting PBC to where it is now.
Thurman too but don't kid yourself, his absence would have not made any difference. Just like now his absence is not even being missed.Comment

You really think Spence got a gift against Porter? I think Porter won 6 rounds at most if you give him all of the swing rounds. Even in that scenario Spence edges it by a point with the knockdown.Comment

Freddie Roach is on record so many times saying that he has to get the best advantages for Manny. His words verbatim about fighting Floyd in 2010 were, “now is the time to fight Floyd because his legs are shot”.
And “we’re asking for a catchweight of 145 for Cotto to give Manny an even playing field” and “we’ll only fight Oscar at 147”. Same with Margarito with the 150 Ibs catchweight.
That’s what you call the true epitome of cherry pickingComment

What about Brandon Rios and Broner getting shots at Pac-Man?
Who did they have to beat to prove their relevance at 147? Why did Pac-Man elect to fight them or even the other bums he fought (Vargas, Clottey, Margarito, etc)Comment

Good fight. Makes sense. Thurman is beltless, coming from a loss, Spence is coming from an accident. I guess Spence won`t fight Crawford right nor or Pacquiao, so, why not.Comment

Thurman is a (B) yes I said it!
How you going to call out a guy who was in such a bad accident that he shouldn’t even be able to fight again or perhaps be alive at all; but before the accident, no one could fine your ass! Keith who.... whatever you are top 5 at best right now and I’m being serious. 1. Terrance Crawford, 2. Errol Spence, 3. Manny Pacquiao 4. Vergil Ortiz Jr. 5. (Tie) yo ass with Shawn PorterComment

I felt Porter swept damn near the first half of the fight, in some of those early rounds I think 4-5 Spence was catching so much hands and getting buzzed so much so it was one-sided 10/8 shyt my non biased eye saw... therefore htf could Spence win even with Porter's normal late night brain fart, when Porter was dictating things still up to the knockdownComment
