Porter lost to Thurman, Spence, Brook, and Ugas.

Garcia lost to Porter, Thurman, and Herrera.

Benavidez and Kavaliauskas were their best versions of themselves when Crawford fought them - undefeated. Both Benavidez and Kavaliauskas were as good or better opponents than Garcia or Porter would be today.

            If I'm Ramirez, I call Devin Haney's bluff @140 first! If he can't beat Haney @ 140, he can't touch Crawford @ 147!

Mikey Garcia opinion on Ramirez vs Crawford

First off all you idiots are mixing up Garcia's. Mickey Garcia lost to Spence Danny Garcia lost to Porter and Thurman. Mikey Garcia is the one giving his opinion not Danny Garcia. They don't even train in same part of the country

At 147 I think Crawford is over hyped he had trouble with a one leg fighter Benevides had Benevides never been shot he would have beat Crawford

...or Crawford moved to 147 to make $$ because that's where all the money WAS. And I say WAS because it's no longer there now. Neither is it at 140 or 154.

Boxing as a whole has suffered it's own recession as it works through various broadcasting styles of stream services in ESPN+ and DAZN as well as Showtime which is still around and obviously PPV or even basic cable like Fox. Fighters are making less today...and a LOT less than when Floyd was fighting.

I cant legitimately say Crawford has ducked one single fight in his whole career but we DO know Crawford has been ducked on more than one occasion..

To make it more confusing for those idiots mixing them up, Robert and Mikey Garcia's other brother is named Danny Garcia, the one who coached Victor Ortiz to a WBC title and fight with Floyd Mayweather. Mikey & Danny (the boxer) could fight at some point and Danny (the trainer) could be in the audience. Or if Victor gets the court cases settled and hires back Danny (the trainer) he could fight Danny (the boxer). If Angel Garcia is unable to train Danny (the boxer), perhaps Danny (the trainer) can take over as the trainer for Danny (the boxer).

After writing all that, I just thought of when Margarito, trainer by Robert Garcia, fought Roberto Garcia. 😂😂😂

His brother tried to deter him but he insisted that he knew better. I respected his desire to challenge himself but his poor effort at trying to win and just being content to survive turned me off. So whatever his boxing eye thought he saw with spence was clearly off. In a similar way, he likely sees holes he thinks can be exploited with Crawford by Ramirez, and I'm suspecting he's off in that scenario too.
fair enough...youre entitled to that opinion and i wouldnt argue it

but imo he took the spence fight for the money and exposure....it was a no lose situation for him really....dont think anyone expected him to win coming up.....he got a big ppv fight and in turn the exposure alone got DAZN/hearn to get him about 7 mil to fight jesse vargas....

mikey might have talked a big game leading up to spence but nobody expected him to win...you know how these fighters are...they all have that "if everything goes right and its my night i can beat anyone within reason"....

you may be right though...he might think theres something ramirez can exploit that he simply will not be able to...
