The problem with Haney is he is just like every other good fighter out there. He will be super hungry until he reaches a specific status and payscale. Once he reaches there he will suddenly become a diva. This sport is tiring.

1. The Campbell fight in August was for the WBC belt...fact.

1. Haney wasn't mandatory, he hadn't even fought Zaur Abdullaev yet to determine if he would even be a factor. Aso a fact.

The facts are that when Loma fought Campbell, Haney wasn't a Mandatory or a consideration because he was a nobody.

Loma chose to fight Campbell's instead of Haney(ducked) & then he DID petition the wbc to become franchise champ,only a fanboi would say that didn't happen,Arum was all over the news making that clear,& finally he would've had to fight Haney had he not become nonsensical franchise champ(a nonsensical moniker for someone who was gifted a single wbc belt & had zero reason to be franchise champ other than to duck Haney & fight the Crollas instead.

Sanctioning rules do overule mandatories for unifications, but there is procedure for that. If the mandatory is due before the intended unification fight, then the mandatory has to go first.

You can't say "I'm unifying in eight to twelve months therefore no mandatory", it doesn't work like that.

If it did then Loma would not have accepted the franchise tag.

The franchise tag also cannot be forced on you, you can reject it like Wilder and Fury did.

Loma accepted it because he had every intention of ducking Haney.

You can fool the casuals with your little spin and you can believe Loma's lies if you want but there is proof and precedence for this. The franchise tag is not a mandatory tag, fighters can reject it. It's been done.

Purely made up garbage you are trying to gain traction out of pure thin air. Never happened. Haney wasn't the mandatory at the time. Haney never mentioned Loma until after Loma beat Campbell. Then he beat Abdulev to become mandatory. He was not even in line to fight Loma, why would he have been lined up to fight Loma instead of Campbell before their fight? Campbell had the higher ranking over Haney to fight for the vacated belt. If it was Haney, Loma would have fought him. It's always been about the belts.

The biggest take away, Haney himself requested that vacated belt. He got favoritism. Why was it not given to Campbell? And Loma has stated noone from his team or Top Rank petitioned for Franchise. He doesn't bull****.

So Top Rank may have requested Franchise for him without telling him, a foreign speaker living across the world.

He certainly did not accept Franchise, with everything he had accomplished to deserve it, because 'aha, then I can avoid some guy who has never fought a 5 star fighter and I've fought eight of them', to avoid racist Haney.
