Billy Joe Saunders talks so much, he needs a statement win to back it up.

Isufi hurt him you daft b**tard. What we do know is this.
Billy Juice Saunders has top names on his resume and no asterisks. Now, whether nasal spray PEDs had anything to do with it is a different conversation. But the fact is, I don't recall Saunders ever getting flush two-pieced, wobbled and dropped by anyone he fought. Fairly certain none of his wins came from blatant low blows.
So yeah, OP is not wrong, but the same could be said about some other fighters.

Everyone knows BJS talks a lot, has no statement wins, and sort of just poses as an elite boxer.
BUT
He. Fucking. Wins. Period.
I don't know how he does it but he does it. He's not impressive. He's not super skilled. He's not the obvious ATG level boxing talent. Yet, Saunders just doesn't lose.
That's why you can't count him out. You don't have to like him but he manages to win. Just like Calzaghe. They just win. Period.Comment

While I agree that Crawford needs to improve his competition at welterweight because he talks a lot to show so little.
Crawford at least showed himself at the lower weight classes.
He's just not THE best welterweight like he likes to promote himself as. He's honestly not even deserving of p4p #1 or #2... whatever it is they rate him at consistently.Comment

Terence crawford looked great in his fights, and he fought way better opponents. He was an undisputed champ in his previous weight class, something BJ has never accomplished in the 2 weight classes he has been in. Ignoring weight classes and just going by skill for skill, BJ has nothing on crawford. Do not ever put the 2 boxers in the same sentence ever again clown.Comment

The edited quote is not wrong. You just refuse to accept the truth of the matter.Terence crawford looked great in his fights, and he fought way better opponents. But you were one of many including Kafkod that BJS “outboxes” Canelo. That was always funny tbh.The man talks utter nonsense. He is a quality operator, but until he steps up to the plate we won't know how good he really is. His biggest wins are the upset of past-prime Andy Lee (5 years ago), and clowning Canadian club fighter David Lemieux (3 years ago), both at Middleweight. Since then he has looked less than stellar, whilst trashing other fighters and calling out the likes of Canelo and Golovkin.
I am tired of hearing this guys name, and I used to be a fan. Jacobs? Andrade? Eubank Jr. II? He has ducked all of these fights. His last 3 opponents are ranked #497, #86 and #78. Somehow that equates to a Super Middleweight "World" title run. He uses negativity to stay relevant. Until he fights another top 5-10 opponent, he isn't on the radar.Comment

I did say in my post I used to be a fan. He does have skill, he can be a tricky customer for anyone on his day. He would actually beat Golovkin clearly, something Canelo failed at doing. But the negative outweighs the positive with Billy Joe these days. He needs statement wins if he wants to stay relevant, calling out for cash-out fights doesn't cut it.Comment
