The same Ring ranks Ryder 6th in the world at 168 and his record is 28 wins and 5 LOSSES. I like the fight, everyone else that’s exciting has either ducked Canelo or priced themselves out!

GGG’s last fight was a title fight against Sergey Derevyanchenko. Derevyanchenko was a mandatory contender that Canelo Alvarez vacated a title to avoid.

Szeremeta is an undefeated boxer who is ranked in the top 10 by TBRB, Ring Magazine and every major title organization. He was in line to be the next mandatory for Golovkin’s title. There’s actually a chance he’s really good. He was also lined up before Canelo committed to the third GGG fight.

We already know what Ryder is. He’s a domestic level fighter.

Ryder might be better than Szeremeta, but if you had to bet on one of them to be great, you would pick Szeremeta. Ryder has fallen short every time he’s had a chance to move up.

It’s just hilarious to me that Canelo fans are so excited about a potential fight against John Ryder, someone who loses one out of every six fights, but will feign outrage when GGG fights a mandatory.

Callum Smith is Ring Magazine Champ at 168 and anyone who saw their fight and knows boxing knows that John Ryder beat Callum Smith therefore he should be Ring Magazine Champ, also I have no problem with GGG fighting Szeremeta or Canelo fighting Ryder. With no crowds there is no ticket sales so the top dogs will have to fight the best of the rest after the champs and other big names as there is not enough money in the pot for those fights now.
