    Three of the top promotional companies in boxing were among numerous small businesses that applied for financial assistance through a federal loan program launched to provide economic relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Associated Press reported Monday night that Golden Boy Promotions, Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank Inc. each applied for funds through the Paycheck Protection Program.

    Why not - they pay confiscatory taxes every other day of the year. If they qualify, they should definitely take the money.

      Absolutely.

      And the only reason teams from the other major sports leagues didn't apply for one is they were shamed from doing it. The Lakers return their PPP loan after getting backlash from the fans.

      Hopefully TR, GBP and PBC kept all their employees and didn't lay anyone off.
