Golovkin is 38, cut him a little slack on his partial reps. He's doing them weighted.

He's not training for a crossfit competition. Looks like he's trying to target specific muscles for a specific reason. Have to assume his S&C coach knows what he's doing.Comment

Indeed and a few of the tweeters point that out too. I won't pretend to have the expertise to either know what precisely they're trying to accomplish or whther they're going about it in the best way, but you kinda assume they know what they're doing, after all it ain't like GGGs a novice at this stuff.
..on top of which he looks dog tired in those pics and it maybe he's at the end of a high intensity work out rather than the start of one.Comment

Fight with Benavidez wasn't competitive. Dirrell isn't a good fighter, sorry. He's not even the better Dirrell.
Props for becoming a world champion after quitting due to a cut though. At least he learned something from his brother.Comment

Targeting muscles groups is fine (if that’s even what they’re doing, which I don’t think he is as the guy says “long arms”), but quality of exercise is as important as the amount of effort you’re putting in. I mean look at that awful jerky pull-ups (with terrible form) that stop half way, you’re asking for a bicep tear. If you can’t do the exercise properly and safely, then it’s too much weight and you’re prone to injury.Comment

Even if you feel that way...putting Szeremeta on the same level is a bit much.
Based on nothing.Comment
