Truth be told. He went in there, Ramirez, and did what he have to do. He (Gonzalez)had two or three weeks notice by our account. He seems in great shape and was the same guy that beat Ramirez last time out. Robeisy wasn't the same, he threw a shutout like he was supposed to do. He hurt him a few times and still followed his corner advice. Overhyped? Maybe. Prima dona? I don't think so. He didn't say a word thru out the whole promotion. Gonzalez on the other hand was talking crap the whole time. Only time can tell what he's going to accomplish. I remember Arguello got ko on his third or fourth fight and then lost the next one. I wonder what "fans"from BS could have say about him.

Adan's been cutting grass, laying mulch, trimming trees all year and with having only 2 weeks to train caused a lot of anxiety. Talking too much was Adan's symptom for his competitive anxiety he was feeling knowing darn well, with the proper time for training, rematch probably would've had a different outcome.....Truth be told!Truth be told. I think I had it 4-2 or 5-1? RR came out in the opening and gave him too much respect like he was still worried about taking a KD. You know I was big on the kid, but I've mellowed a bit.Robeisy looked pretty sharp in this fight. Gonzalez is a tough kid, so he took a decent amount of punishment and still went the distance. I would’ve rathered see Ramirez score the KO, but it looked like a 6-0 shutout to me. Still very early in the kid’s career. Still getting his pro legs under him. Let’s see where this goes.Comment

Yeah, he doesn’t look gangbusters so far. But I’ve seen both: guys that look awesome early on and get taken down, and guys that looked ok and turned out excellent. You just never really know. So far, at least, Ramirez looks decent. I’m not proclaiming him the next big thing, but I’m far from giving up on him. Time will tell.Comment

Yeah, I’ve been guilty of overlooking and overhyping fighters on more than one occasion. Arguello is a good example. Sometimes great fighters take some time to get going. Not that he’s a great, but I was wrong about Ugas early on. He’s turned out to be a very solid pro.Truth be told. He went in there, Ramirez, and did what he have to do. that's your opinion and you not giving any credit to Ramirez. He was a completely different fighter and that is what we are discussing. The win is a byproduct of that different fighter. Regardless of what you think. If he is willing to train and listen, he has a future.Adan's been cutting grass, laying mulch, trimming trees all year and with having only 2 weeks to train caused a lot of anxiety. I remember we talked about Ugas. I always thought he could hang with the best of them. The weight he was fighting I didn't agree with. He looked drained.Yeah, I’ve been guilty of overlooking and overhyping fighters on more than one occasion. Arguello is a good example. Sometimes great fighters take some time to get going. Yeah, he went beyond my expectations. You’re right, he looks much better at 147. And even then, he looks ripped. Ugas could easily fight at 154.Comment

the thing about Ugas is that he keeps himself in shape. Go to his page in FB, you will see he doesn't balloon like other fighters. Duran used to gain 35-50lbs between fights. He has became a solid professional fighter.Comment

I agree. I see Ugas all the time on Facebook. Always in unbelievable condition.Comment
