Because he tried to do just that.

So it seems this contract is something that everyone has to adhere to only when it suits Hearn. And it can be ignored when it doesn't suit him.
This is another lie . Hearn proposed a pay cut which he was doing to other fighters due to no live gate ,it didn’t breach any contract which was existing already . Taylor took the cut so there was no such less pay for Serrano that her own promoter failed to inform her initially then the excuse she wasn’t able to train in N.Y was also exposed with Taylor being there training herself .

Excuses run out fast in the fight game when exposed as much on here when posters continue to just post random nonsense that easily weeds them out on here . Ha

She only THEN looked to join a reality show since she didn't feel like the Taylor fight was going to happen anytime soon, and not before fans were allowed in arenas. The fight being postponed twice has nothing to do with Serrano. So if the fight was postponed say five times and then eventually Serrano or Taylor decided to go another route, you would still be fine with Hearn wanting the 10k back?

After the fight was postponed for the second time, there was no set date for this fight to take place. Serrano tried to go another route in the meantime to make some money as she had not heard anything about the Taylor fight happening anytime soon. You tried to act like Serrano was never going to take the fight so she played Hearn or something. That obviously is not the case. Hearn is trying to get money back for two camps that Serrano has already had preparing for Taylor....Before the fights were postponed. This actually isn't hard to understand, but.....
You said Serrano has nothing to do with postponements when fights are subject to them as though she can walk out on them ,particularly in the situation we have now ? Ha

Your threads and responses most of the time are as delirious as Dibella asking for a reason why the postponements as if he didn’t know a virus was still ongoing making it difficult to pin down the best time to show fights ? Ha

I think we can tell who are actually in business on here and still who thinks like 8th graders on here ,I’m in business and deal with contracts all the time so I”ll leave it there because there’s no way not to insult your own intelligence ,I think others have done that on here enough without me involved .

Hearn is getting money back for breach of contract ,you have insulted your own intelligence by not comprehending that which is the point of the entire situation not a made up training advancement which expired but still attached to the contract which includes Taylor and only Taylor which She did not follow through with and the end result was a complaint of pay reduction not anything else which was debunked like just about all your points on here but........

Ah, now putting words in my mouth. I said Serrano had nothing to do with the postponents, which is 100% true. When did I say she can walk out of them? I gave you the exact timeline of what happened. You originally said this:

She went behind Hearns back and used his expenses knowingly playing dumb as if she wouldn’t know about current commitments and if that wasn’t bad enough then cancel on him knowing she’s under contract to any changes in dates or venues then makes it about money when confronted so it’s beyond what she owes him .
YOU are the fool here saying she went behind Hearn's back and used his expenses. Um buddy, read the comments Serrano has made. She got the 10k in March and used at least part of that money for the first camp when the fight was scheduled for May and then again for when the fight was scheduled for July. Serrano used money for two training camps for fights that were postponed out of her control. After her July 4th fight was postponed, the fight vs Taylor was not rescheduled for another date. She was under the impression it wasn't going to happen until end of the year so she sought to make money another way with a reality show on Telemundo.

And no one's intelligence is ever insulted except yours with your broken grammar. You cannot go two sentences without making a fool out of out yourself.

We can tell who who is in business and who thinks like an 8th grader? LOL, I have been involved with businesses my entire life and deal with contracts all the time being a CPA. I will say this, you definitely write like you are still an 8th grader. Since you apparently deal with contracts, it is a good thing you aren't actually responsible for drafting them.

By the way, the thread title was literally "Fair or foul" asking if what Hearn is doing was right or not. Not if it was legal or if he didn't have legal ground to ask for the money back. I've already stated if anyone thinks Serrano should still go on with the fight, I won't argue that point. But that is not what I was asking with this thread.

Anyways, we can leave it at this......

A contract stipulates how much a fighter is going to get paid. Yes or no?

Trying to get them to accept less than what was agreed on would be going against what was in the contract.

If your going to try and make out someone is ****** you should probably get your facts right. Go and check where the original venue really was scheduled for.
