He's a low mileage 35 with only 15 pro fights and 100% KO wins. If he isn't prime, he's still close enough to rule him out as a potential opponent for Canelo.

Bingo! Like half these CLOWNS had GGG by EASY KO. Then aged 100 years after his fight with Canelo. These fake ***s will say soo Biev is OLD. He 35/36.

I bet $100 that excuses will follow no matter what. These Canelo haters have sooo many EXCUSES they can't even keep a face straight when they make new ones up.

Was Jacobs not prime when Canelo fought him?? was Trout, Lara not prime??

jacobs vs alvarez was nothing more than a glorified sparring session

Jacobs was known to be tight at 160 and had to cope with a rehydration clause imposed by Canelo.

Lara and Trout don't belong in the same discussion as a juggernaut like Beterbiev.

Either weight I would drop a couple grand on the over probably 11.5 rounds.

                If I had my pick

                1. Charlo
                2. Bivol
                3. Binavidez
                4. Biev
                5. Pascal

I wouldn't mind Andrade or Saunders but think it would be boring fights. More like sparring. They can't hurt Canelo and won't let Canelo even close to exchanging.

Be like dancing in the boxing ring.

Pascal might be an odd pick but their styles would make one heck of a fight.

CanCharlo Cinco De Mayo 2021 in Houston or even Jerry's World
Yes Bivol fights would make much sense but this is one of the most dangerous fights for pednelo. Bivol stamina, footwork and work rate all wrong for canelo. Bivol hardly lose any rounds in his fights he is a beast , mentioned many times that he will move down to SMW to fight canelo. I'm convinced this fight will never happen unfortunately.
The second biggest threat for pednelo is Beterbiev. Artur just bigger and stronger version of GGG , I will repeat that canelos team will not allow this fight to happen until Beterbiev shows vulnerability or just get much older. In their potential fight Artur just will go through canelos hardest punches and knock him out in late rounds.
And the last dangerous opponent is David Benavidez. He is young tall great speed and power with better stamina as well.
That being said if pednelo fights any one these 3 guys he gets automatically HUGE credit. But unfortunately it won't happen...

Beterbiev can't be bought off to dive and thus Canelo and Oscar won't go near Beterbiev.

Everyone should know by now Kovalev dove for Canelo and Oscar. Obvious fix.
Agree, that "fight" just didn't look right.
Kovalev beat Bhop 12-0, could have KO'd him if he didn't lay off the gas
Kovalev beat and knockdown Andre Ward
Kovalev came off back to back good performances
Then he fights Canelo and looks horrible, despite being bigger and stronger. His jab had no power behind it.
Wouldn't be the first time Oscar fixed a fight (Bhop fight)

Even then Canelo won’t take it unless he sees a major decline ala Kovalev
