Unless they give seats away, there's no way that's getting sold out..

A reduced or next to nothing crowd would be better for the image of the fight cos they have an excuse for hardly anybody present...

I hope that this plague subsides by then. I know Bob is in this business to make money. He can't put a fight of this magnitude on without a gate. Both fighters have to receive their guarantees.

Apart from trying to bring in some decent revenue, Why do you think Arum is pushing for a fight like that to be at a reduced seating/crowd? He wants it outta the way.

He couldn't sell it to a full capacity imo, try get some fans in, make a bit of cash and it gets the contracted fight out the way and he can go chase the big money if all goes to plan...

This 3rd fight has turned into a bit of a burden imo and I'd wager Bob would rather it not happen

Will be a good week to be in Vegas. You can get comped seats just like the Fury/Wallin fight and the Fury/Schwarz fight hahaha. Yet they will still say that the event was a success or a "near sellout".

I think you miss understood the article. Most arenas in vegas hold a capacity crowd of 16 to 20 thousand. Allegiant stadium can hold 65 to 72 thousand. Arum is looking to use that stadium to incorporate social distancing rules for a capacity of 20k, 4 k more than the 16k from the previous fight. So the seating is not reduced for the fight its actually 4k more. Its actually very smart business and a decent work around the crowd issue.

The biggest HW scrap since Thrilla in Manila. 4 mil PPV buys.

Fury is the cash cow. The golden goose. The face of boxing.
