Anyone willing to take a bet on this. Not who wins, thats easy. The kid gets schooled! But that will be a benefit to him down the line. Only Campbell will throw so much at him I'd be impressed if he remembers it all. No, I'm willing to bet that golden boy comes to their senses and high tales it in another direction with the kid under their wings. How can they have a number one prospect with a loss on his record. Dont get me wrong I would like nothing better than to see the kid slapped silly. It's just I don't belive he will get the go ahead. The pamper poster boy will be schmoozed along without any risk. Although fighting Campbell is not a risk it is a guarantee he gets exposed not to mention his ego humbled. While golden boy loses their hype token. I have it at 6-1 that fight takes place. And that's too bad for fans who love justice!

Luke Campell vs Ryan Garcia
Believe me, If they do this fight, is a blessing for us boxing fans. Also, this fight is going to answer a bunch of questions with all have about Ryan Garcia. Is the Luke Campell who fought Lomachenko appear, then is going to be a long night to Ryan Garcia.

The sudden leap in quality from Fonseca to Campbell cannot be understated. Oscar has already stated publicly he's apprehensive about pitting him with Linares. Reynoso has also publicly stated that Ryan needs more rounds before he truly steps up to the elite level.
Good thing Campbell isn't elite.
About the Oscar part, he says stuff like that to embellish fighters so his guy looks more impressive when he beats him.
He actually sold Duno as a tough fight for Garcia.
Anyone that knows any boxing knew that was a first three rounds blowout.
Oh wait there were people on here saying he was ducking Duno...

Don't forget Ryan has fought a total of 4 rounds in almost two years. Ultimately it's up to Reynoso and Golden Boy to decide, we already know Ryan is on board.
Fair enough on Oscar, he does tend to aggrandize certain fighters, but I do think he's being sincere about Linares.

Loma ducked Haney and is still holding that weak WBC Franchise belt.
Don’t come here trying to reengineer history. That day is done and over.

Not the win to define a career however if Ryan beats a game Luke Campbell... he can show he belongs amongst the best.
If he beats Luke impressively he makes a statement as it will be a direct calling card to Lomachenko.
Triangle theories don’t always play out but beating the same competition more impressively is always a great way to increase fan pressure and get another fighters attention.
If you want the big fight, but don’t want the champions challenging leftovers, then usually you are trying to talk your way into a fight your team doesn’t really believe you would win. Take note Dillian Whyte.
