Hrgovic already has a win over Kuzman in the wsob I believe. If Hunter thought he could get by the undefeated Hrgovic I think he would have taken that fight . Hrgovic has grown into puncher now as well and should have been awarded the gold medal back in the day . Ask anyone who been in the ring with both him and DDD within the recent years who hit harder the answer is usually Hrgovic so dismissing a 6”7 fighter with a great resilience is a mistake .

povetkin was coming off a co main event win over hughie fury on the loma vs luke campbell card. you get way more money for fighting povetkin in the co main than you do for fighting hrgovic in fight four on the card.
i do think hrgovic hunter would be a nice fight one day though.

Hunter vs Hrgovic would have been the co main event . You guys are placing Hrgovic in a 4th fight just because Hunter did not want that fight . Povetkin wouldn’t have been on that card if the Hrgovic fight was made first . Hunter requested another opponent who became Povetkin .

The Povetkin situation has been established he was also coming off shoulder surgeries after the Hughie fight outside getting knocked out the fight prior ,I can assure you Hunter took the Povetkin fight for these reasons over money if that’s the situation vs going into a fight with 6”7 undefeated giant with heavy hands .

Yeah if you look at Hrgovics amateur career his only good wins are Joseph Parker and Kuzmin he beat Tony Yoka when Tony was debuting but then Tony went on to beat him twice and Joe Joyce beat him also maybe he should go and try to avenge those defeats since they are Euro level fights. Kuzmin and Povetkin are bigger punchers than Filip I'm sure Hunter was not afraid of fighting some green Croatian who has only fought 1 former title challenger who is shot to **** and never really had the heart to compete at that level.

Matchroom and DAZN are losing money. They can no longer afford him on their budget. That's why they are downsizing.

It depends if you really believe Yolka and Joyce beat him ,doing punch counts and effective aggression has him winning over Yolka and I counted clearer shots to Joyce and agreed with the judge that had him winning even in the U.K though it took me a few times to do that thinking Joyce had won but corrected myself .

Hrgovic is not some green anything the man put Haye out of the Fury fight and was toying with Wilder in his early 20”s . Had he opted to go pro sooner I doubt Wilder sees a title ,it’s almost like throwing a Vitali Klitschko back in the mix .

What’s more puzzling here and makes no sense at all is Hrgovic was seeking Hunter who declined but he’s the guy with no heart ,and based off what exactly, can you explain ? Have you actually seen this guy fight Or reading off words ?

I never said Hrgovic had no heart I just said from what I've seen he is not some vicious killer that makes me think like damn he is going to cause some problems. He is green as a pro sparring doesn't matter he has fought nobody except Eric Molina how is he going to react when he gets hit by a big puncher or faces someone who can actually box back we have yet to see that.

A 2 minute clip with Wilder doesn't prove much Wilder was tagging him too and yeah he cut David Haye didnt knock him out cold how many times have we seen fighters get cut in sparring by lesser fighters it happens. Filip is nothing like Vitali Klitschko he does not have the same movement and doesn't box at long range off the jab as well he stays in middle range and tries to look for the big shot.
