Hrgovic was ranked higher ,he’s ranked higher in some sanctioning bodies still and a win over him means higher promotion and notoriety in the long run , Povetkin was coming off a loss so Rahman his manager also knew he was coming off of surgery as well and viewed it as a more winnable fight vs a giant who’s in his prime .Last edited by REDEEMER; 07-01-2020, 11:57 PM.Comment

There was no bigger money ,the undercard was on a set budget . You might think a win over a guy coming off a bad knockout loss is better then an undefeated highly touted fighter like Hrgovic but then like I said people are blind when confronted with the truth on here so you can call that whatever you want . Most people aren’t even giving credit to a older Povetkin on here in his upcoming Whyte fight and calling him washed up so I don’t even know what your on about talks of being more known ? it looks like matchroom is leaving the usa. that is kind of disappointing TBH. i hope not. eddie has struggled in his usa cards. i don't think he really understands the market. all the best dazn cards are uk or in the usa with almost all uk fighters (like aj ruiz 1).
golden boy has canelo and nothing else but right before the shut down ryan garcia fonseca was the best non canelo usa show dazn has done.
ryan came through big, they had 2 147's fight (47 is big in the usa) haney was raising hell backstage. vergil ortiz was on the telecast. linares beat up a bum and hyped the next fight vs garcia.
that show was hopeful and i hope dazn usa makes it but it looks shaky.Comment
