They’re are interviews done with Linares who said he doesn’t want to fight Ryan because supposedly Ryan isn’t “ready” which we all know what that means because if Linares truely felt like that he would say let me whoop this young guy and take some of his fame but he truth of the matter is Linares thinks Ryan is too dangerous given his fragile chin and Ryan’s power so rather not take that risk.

I don't think Jorge was ducking Ryan, fight was being discussed "pre-pandemic" for the summer in the Honda Center in Anaheim. Post-pandemic, Jorge must have felt like the money still has to be right since his "name" still means something/has value for a hot prospect/contender like Ryan.
