Terence Crawford can't understand why his critics are so quick to pick apart his resume at welterweight. Crawford consistently encounters criticism because he hasn't fought any of the top 147-pound fighters affiliated with Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions, most notably Errol Spence Jr. The 32-year-old Crawford doesn't think he is at fault for those fights failing to materialize because he has boxed PBC-affiliated fighters, though none on the level of Spence, Shawn Porter, Keith Thurman or Danny Garcia.

Bud is reaching hard! All those fighters were on the same level as Josesito Lopez, Sergey Lipinets, and Eimanatas Stanionis! All decent fighters, but not on the level of Ugas, Thurman, DSG, Porter, Spence, or Pacquiao! If Bud wants to prove something, he should do what Floyd did, buy out that contract, and go get the fights he wants!

I'm a big fan of Bud the boxer, but it's getting harder and harder to like Bud the person with all the comments he's been making since the lockdown. He needs to get back in the ring as soon as possible and hopefully get a big matchup against one of the top 3 PBC welterweights by the end of the year.
I have no doubt that he could shine against the top 3 but he has yet to prove that at welterweight.
As much as he tries to build up his wins at 147 up to this point, he will never prove he is #1 at 147 until he fights and beats the best.
On another note, hopefully he takes the virus seriously now that his gym mate Herring tested positive.

He’s right about giving them hell. Most people only look at records though, and these guy’s haven’t mixed it up with a top-level guy besides Crawford.
