Which countries should be boxing powerhouses but aren't?

Brazil comes to mind the most, they have a great martial arts tradition, Latin Amermicans most popuous country yet they dont rep boxing for their numbers.

Who else comes up? I think regionally places like Vietnam, Thailand, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Nigeria and Indonesia have huge numbers and martial populations but no one really promotes their talent?

Brazil is an interesting point, Ju Jitsu and furthermore MMA are huge in Brazil yet they don’t produce many world class boxers.

Brazilian sport is absolutely dominated by Football though, there’s literally no other sport that even compares. Essentially every Brazilian kid grows up wanting to be the next Pele, Garrincha, Zico, Ronaldo etc.

Nigeria for sure. The are Afrikan countries the size of Canada.
Vietnam. Most south/southeast asian countries. All those people. All that poverty. Heck I'm surprised Manny from the lil ol' Philippines didn't inspire a whole new wave of asian fighters.
The Arab world (Asia I know) (clearly I'm cutting up regions) Naz & Khan should've created a BOOM for Boxing over there...me thinks its a 50/50 split between either being too war torn to care for Boxing and being too rich to have to Box.
China. But that place needs to be wiped out I got no sympathy for that dirty country.
Brazil. Biggest population in South America. 2nd biggest population in the Americas behind the United States. Damn near the South American version of the United States. No good reason they don't have more Boxing.
Haiti. One of the larger countries in the West Indies.
Jamaica, one the larger countries in the West Indies.
^If Cuba and PR have a boxing presence than those two should as well.
Russia. A super country that crosses multiple continents. They do not have a great system for Boxing the way they should. Russia stretches all the way to the east of china on the land between the sea and Japan. They should have more fighters than America does. I know they ass poor as hell over there.
Australia. An entire continent of fighters should be coming outta that place. Literally. An entire continent. No excuses. I think its the lack of diversity. Too many sons & daughters of rapists and murders & not enough flavor. Jeff Horn should be a national hero.
Ireland. The main country not the uk country. Big ass island. People who claim they're fighters every hour of the day for some reason. Yet not enough Boxers to prove that fantasy they keep pushing.
The UK. I know but listen. ONLY England has been producing fighters and showing love for fighters and boxing. What about the other dead weight nations in the UK? Wales? Scotland? Northern Irish F**ks? Useless. They need to step up. In fact I'm surprised that isn't a whole full blown, historical rivalry in Boxing for the Uk. It should be..Maybe I'll start my promotion over there after all.
Samoa. They're big. They're fighters. They are NOT p*ssy in the slightest. Had plenty of good homeboys in the army who are samoan. They bring that same tough no ***** attitude, that ready to fight right now attitude that AAs have. Heck I got into a squabble with my homeboy Sooga when Floyd v Manny was announced. During deployment in Iraq lol. We was cool the next morning. I gotta take a trip out there. All samoans know each other. Literally. They all be cousins and family and in-laws. Its crazy. But they would be a force in Boxing without a doubt.

Never went over this in Geography over 10 years ago. Maybe in your backwater town full of "pure Americans" it was important. Miami is already diverse.

Most of those countries you mentioned have some good fighters in the amateurs. I think lack of support for pro boxing at home stops many from going pro. they would have to move to US or Europe and it would mean they have to be away from their family.

China and India, these are the most overpopulated countries on earth

with more than 1 billion ppl each (seriously, somebody needs to stop these ****ers from reproducing, they're ruining the planet)

yet they can't produce a single world level boxer

                that's disgraceful

Thailand and Brazil are much like China in that they have local martial arts that are deeply ingrained into the culture and/or national identity.

China has hundreds of different styles of Kung Fu (Wing Chun, Bagua, Tai Chi, etc)
Thailand has Muay Boran and Muay Thai
Brazil has Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Capoeria

There are many more Kung Fu schools in China than boxing, kickboxing, or MMA gyms combined.

In Thailand the best fighters end up in Muay Thai/kickboxing.

In Brazil the best fighters are usually funneled into MMA via BJJ.

The best athletes are identified early in those countries and funneled into the dominant local disciplines.
