Another day, another Tyson story/5 second video. It's all very TMZ.

What rubbish. He did rally in a couple of brutal fights with Ruddock, coming back from wobbly moments to win against the best one punch man in the division. And of course nobody ever swatted him like a gnat, and the big George of the Lyle and Young fights was good, but clearly not invincible either. Neither was the Holmes that got dropped by Snipes. Not saying they woundnt have beaten him, but the dismissive language here make me think yout second name is really Atlas.

This is a pure hater's post!!! No one in the history of HW boxing did what Tyson did. Tyson was fighting almost every 3weeks through his career

Anybody hating on Tyson is a millennial troll I don't expect them to know boxing history or appreciate nothing more than Logan Paul jerking it

So, this bum "writer" had to get this article wrote just to put down the lack of inspiration he gets from Tyson Fury! Easily the most inspirational fighter in modern boxing. And writes an "alternate view" on Mike Tyson, which we have all seen ten million times before. Absolute joke of an article.

If this was parody, it would have been almost half-decent, but it's deadly serious, and quite frankly, garbage.

Floyd said it so accurately. “Whether they are cheering or booing you, they are still acknowledging who you are and will pay to see you win or lose.” It’s the same with Mike. People will still pay to see him knock someone out or get knocked out.

                Excellently written article!
Mike is the greatest marketed fighter of all-time! For sure...
However he made his way through a very weak era in modern HW history. Perhaps the weakest. Considering he wasn't even good enough to beat bums in the earls 00s.
Nostalgia Bursts are the reasons he gets heralded, not aficionado's research and passion.
Hell he loss at the top of his game to a bum- buster WAS a bum btw. Who's mother had just passed so he wasn't even focused as he could've been.
Mike never beat anyone of note. Always loss. Even against cherrypicks.
                Ahhh those nostalgia bursts tho!!!

Couldn’t agree more with this, it’s not just the content it’s badly written tripe dripping with bitterness and arrogance.

I’ve heard tons of hypothetical discussions about fantasy fights from different eras and I can respect different points of view because it’s just a bit of unprovable fun. But to use such hyperbole like being swatted like a gnat suggests some kind of agenda in play. And then to come off like “sorry had to tell you folks” like his jaundiced opinion is indisputable fact, arrogant beyond belief.

Don’t even want to debate the points he made as that would be giving too much time to such a joke of an article.

I disagree with Lyle. A prime Mike Tyson would have been difficult to beat for anyone, including Ali, Foreman and a prime Holmes. He had his flaws but no fighter in boxing history has ever been as ferocious as 'Iron' Mike Tyson.

Prime foreman would have annihilated prime Tyson, that ferocity would wank Tyson straight into destruction
