Aren't the gloves inspected in the dressing room? Doesn't the ref check the gloves before the fight? You'd think he'd notice some padding missing during the fight or someone may realize something's not right like Billy Collins' dad after his fight with Luis Resto. I find it very hard to believe that Fury had padding removed for a fight of that magnitude and no one noticed until some youtuber got his hands on the video.

These comments are naive. The BBBofC inspected Tyson's gloves in the locker-room when Fury fought Christian Hammer in a WBA-WBO eliminator for Klitschko. Referee Marcus McDonnell caught Tyson just before the start of the contest.

Its important to note that, not even Hammer's team detected the faulty glove. I disagree. Wilder came very close to beating Tyson Fury the first time.

Had it not been for the discretion of the referee he would have easily won by knockout. Remember that Tyson got up at the count of nine not nine seconds.

Also yes, while I agree that Haymon has made him a rich man but at the same time he has dropped the ball. Wilder wanted a return rematch ASAP and Al couldn't deliver it for him.

Instead, he agreed to fight Fury on his terms. He waited for a whole goddamned 14 months in order for Fury to regain full strength from that knockdown while fine tuning both his timing and conditioning as well. That was bad management on Haymon's part.

First of all , inspection is not one person , if I’m not mistaken there’s two inspectors and a third one who will make the cringing decisions if something is wrong
