Holyfield beating Tyson twice

Busters win wasn't a fluke. This isn't a video game. He beat Mike and knocked him out- a prime Mike. I don't make excuses for fighters because thats opinion. Which leads to favoritism. Nobody was more underprepared than Buster who's mother had died right before the fight. Mike was simply exposed.Buster isnt rated as high because a lot of people see it as a fluke. Buster fought the fight of his life vs Tyson and a lot of people beleived Tyson was underprepared for Buster who at the time was seen as a cakewalk. I mean, how serious are you gonna take a guy when the odds are 42 to 1?
But alas, while he did beat Tyson, Buster for the most part had had a lackluster career before and after. He lost easily to Holyfield and fought less than stellar competition the rest of his career.
One big win doesnt make someone "great". People also look for sustained success. Which is also why some people rate Tyson high and some rate him lower.
1988 Mike Tyson was a beast. But 1988 Tyson only fought in 1988. The rest of his career post prison to retirement was pretty lackluster.
I rate Holyfield higher than both those guys because Holyfield was a beast roids or no roids. The dude fought WARS and has a resume stacked with all the big names even if he didnt win them all. He took on everyone.Comment
